He writes: "Adjacent to the historic Teatro Colon is a restored Art Deco theatre devoted to artistic demonstrations of the tango, which of course originated in this city. Porteño (meaning 'of the port') is the word used to indicate a citizen of Buenos Aires. The theatre has nightly performances and provides an excellent if expensive dinner."
