This picture was submitted by MG. He pulled the following description of Sears Essentials off the company website: "Sears Essentials is a prototype store which "is a new, integrated format that brings customers the best of Sears and Kmart in a meaningful, relevant way."
MG also notes that "a few larger Kmarts were converted into this prototype format for a proposed new Sears layout in hopes of a full nationwide rollout."
