According to the hotel's website: "The uniquely designed Route 66 Hotel and Conference Center is an American owned and operated facility, located on the original historic Route 66 Highway. It was originally the first Holiday Inn located on Route 66 Highway.

"Our remodeled facility features over 100 guest rooms and eight suites. We have over 6000 square feet of meeting and banquet space that includes a beautiful ballroom. On location is also a wonderful restaurant “Yesterday’s”, offering great homemade food at yesterday’s prices! Additionally on location is Donnie’s B's Den, a quaint bar, with dart boards, pool tables, arcade games, numerous TV’s to watch your favorite sports game and offers a limited menu. On tap the Den offers 11 varieties of draft beer!"

CTTF, who sent this photo in, adds: "I would also add that this was originally an outdoor open motel that was later enclosed. The original inn comprised of the north wing, whereas a west wing was added later on. Also included within is a gallery of memorabilia from route 66 (primarily from Illinois locations) as well as a cafe and comedy club. This hotel is independent and no longer affiliated with Holiday Inn (why Holiday Inn didn't keep this location due to its historical significance is beyond me.) These urinals can be found in the hallway leading to the north wing and to the outdoor pool."
