This picture was sent in by BRG. He writes: "The Lemp Brewery was founded in 1840, and was one of the largest breweries in St. Louis before Prohibition. Today, the Lemp name holds a place in St. Louis history not for their product, but for the strange demise of the Lemp family. Between 1901 and 1943, six members of the family died under mysterious circumstances or suicide the Lemp Mansion. Today the Mansion serves as a banquet hall (where this picture was taken), bed and breakfast, and restaurant. During the Halloween season, haunted house tours that show where the family members met their ends are offered."
