These pictures were submitted by eastbayray. He writes: "[T]he H.M.S. Belfast, a World War II Battle Cruiser,... is moored along the Thames River, just downstream from the Tower Bridge. Launched in 1938, she was the largest such ship in the Royal Navy during the War. The Belfast was hit by a mine at the outbreak of hostilities and spent two years under repair in the Royal Navy Shipyards before returning to action and serving with distinction during the Second World War as well as the Korean Conflict. The first shot shows the "Night Heads", open during silent hours only- "From Pipedown to Call the Hands", and are the only original urinals shown to the public."
"...Shown secondly, the urinals which visitors today are permitted to use, disappointingly refurbished from their former glory."
