At one point in time, this market was bustling with vendors selling groceries, prepared foods and goods of all shapes and sizes. Today, the market is made up almost entirely of souvenir vendors selling wooden elephants and folding hats to visiting tourists.
These unusual fixtures appear to have been made out of a ceramic jug. They are found in one of the souvenir stores that crowd the shores of the market's canals and are largely open to the outdoors. Limes have been added to the urinals to deodorize them.
