The Buitepos Border Crossing provides a gateway between the countries of Namibia and Botswana. The crossing is located 120km to the east of Gobabis, Namibia.
Gobabis is a busy cattle farming town located on the western edge of the Kalahari. From there, the Kalahari highway crosses into Namibia and heads to the town of Ghanzi, Botswana.
