This picture was sent in by KW. He writes: "In the rural parts of China, flush toilets of any type are almost unknown. This men's room is typical. When photographing the urinal, I chose to leave the cigarette packet in place, as it gives a sense of scale (and as it was also soggy). The concrete trench to the left is one of three for defecation: don't expect privacy in this part of the world." |
